一、个人简介 / Personal Profile

        谢伟,教授,博士生导师,招生专业为海洋生物学,研究兴趣为海洋微生物(特别是古菌)的生态功能及其驱动的生物地球化学循环意义。多次担任深远:酱蔚氖紫蒲Ъ,并多次执行载人深潜科考任务,最大深度为4230米。于2020年3月首次在南海发现鲸落生态系统。目前已在ISME J、Microbiome、Environmental Microbiology、Deep-sea Research I等期刊发表科研论文50余篇。获国家自然科学基金重大研究计划培养项目、面上项目、青年项目,以及科技部重点研发计划等项目资助。目前担任广东省生态学会第十届理事会成员。

       Xie Wei, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, specializes in marine biology. He focuses on the ecological functions of marine microorganisms (particularly archaea) and their role in biogeochemical cycles. He has served as Chief Scientist on multiple deep-sea expeditions and conducted manned submersible research missions, reaching a maximum depth of 4,230 meters. In March 2020, he made the first discovery of a Cetacean fall ecosystem in the South China Sea. He has published over 50 research papers in journals such as ISME J, Microbiome, and Environmental Microbiology, and Deep-sea Research I. He is supported by grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the National Key Research and Development Program. He serves as a member of the 10th Council of the Guangdong Ecological Society.
